University of Michigan Ann Arbor Class of 2022 Early Action

Does anyone know what time decisions are going to be released?

@Ley438 I think Michigan releases decisions at 3pm EST

just got deferred from Georgetown :((. Hoping to get into michigan.

@collegecrazy432 Ugh same!! I’m on this thread now for a little hope because I can’t look at all the people getting into Georgetown making so sad ugh.

@aa2022 What other colleges r u applying to??

@collegecrazy432 I’m only applying to business schools and I already got accepted to Indiana and Alabama. I also applied to Case Western, Georgia Tech, Claremont McKenna, Emory, and USC. How about you?

I also applied to UIUC early and got in. Regular I think I’m applying to BU, WashU, UNC Chapel Hill, Emory, Northwestern. But I want to add more

Did anyone else hear from UW-Madison yesterday?

I got accepted to Howard University yesterday! Still waiting on the others

Any one else apply EA to UNC Chapel Hill? I have my fingers crossed that they’ll send out decisions sooner than planned, cuz they have the same EA decision return estimate as Madison (end of January), and UW sent out the first wave a month and a half ahead of schedule!

got accepted to UW Madison last night! made me a little more optimistic but i still really doubt i’ll get into michigan ugh  i wish

@jm18271 what are your stats? Getting into Madison isn’t a cakewalk, especially OOS. Maybe you’re being too hard on yourself!

The only college I’ve heard from is colorado school of mines but im dying to know about umich and ga tech

do you guys think it’s too late to send an update to umich? too close to decisions release?

@bella2018 Yep I did EA at UNC Chapel Hill too. Everyone is still saying late January should be when they’re released. They get a ton of application and im assuming even more this year.

@friendfiend I would do it! They’ve probably looked at pretty much all of the apps right now, but they defer a ton of people EA so if you could be one of those people then it will for sure show demonstrated interest and improvement.

@syd24ranger Yay! I have someone to commiserate with! Do you know exactly how much harder it is to get in from out of state than it is for a NC resident?

Wait, isn’t this the Michigan thread? Because the last few comments were just about North Carolina. :))

If you applied to Ross BBA early, do you get decision for preferred admission as well next week? or is it just the base school

@jdawg24 lol sorry! I got a holiday message from UNC and I got distracted. It’s entirely possible that my attention span (i.e. that of a goldfish) will ultimately be my downfall in college!
