I called the office of undergraduate admissions last week because there was a problem with my student portal and I also asked when decisions would be out-- I only got “By the 24th”

Having been a moderator here for several admissions cycles, the only times I have seen a post claiming an acceptance before the college has announced the date, the poster’s claim was debunked. So don’t get stressed, and don’t feed the under-the-bridge-dwellers. Good luck.
My bet is a Friday release. I’m not very lucky with guesses though.
I’ve already finished my Letter of Continued Interest and have it in a stamped envelope ready to mail. All I need is that deferral nod from the admissions office.
It’s a simple letter - it’s not an essay, nor a social media campaign like someone suggested an LOCI should be. Nope. It goes like this:
Dear UMich:
This letter will confirm that I love you, I love you, I love you the mostest! Take me please.
