Hey everyone!
I've posted something like this before, but these stats are updated (and final, before I submit the common app)
Sooo... what do you guys think my chances are for the two universities? I'll be applying to Michigan State as a backup.

Sorry for making it so long :/

ACT: 29
GPA: 3.66 UW/ 3.87 W
Rank: Unsure of exact rank, but its top 15% (Out of 500ish students)
Other Stats: 6 AP classes
Sophomore year: APUSH (4)
Junior year: AP Chem (3) AP Lang (3)
Senior Year: AP Calc, Lit, and Studio Art
Taken all Honors classes that were offered (12 completed)

Founder/President/Student Council Rep of the Art Club
Vice President of an out of school program that does community service.
Editor of the annual school literary magazine.
Member of Chem Club
Member of NHS
Member of the school's diversity committee
Programmer(C++), Musician(Guitar and piano), Artist(traditional and abstract, usually using traditional media), all self taught.
Took a year long leadership course that focused on breaking cultural/religious stereotypes.
About 200 community service hours with local nonprofit organizations (helped raise the minimum wage, delivered packages to the homeless/kids in need, raised awareness in voting in the community, attended many fundraisers to help various causes, food drives, etc.)
Tutor kids that need help with math, science, guitar and piano.

Essays: Good. I am often told that I am a great writer (My AP Lang score is a 3 possibly due to my handwriting. I have terrible handwriting.)

Teacher Recs: Great! Very close to a few of my teachers, rec will be very personal/unique, actually describing me.
Counselor Rec: Possibly bad. Counselor retired this year, I am going to have a new one when the school year starts.

In-state
Average public school. Very large (approx 2400 students total, 500ish in my class)
Ethnicity: Arab American

major strength/weakness: Minority status/awareness and promotor of diversity as a strength. My major weakness would be my GPA. I heard a 3.66 isn't exactly the best to have.

Also, one final question. My sister went to UM-Dearborn. Does that count as legacy?
Also, none of my parents, or granparents, etc, went to college, but my older sister and older brother did. Is that considered first generation?
