I was wondering when decisions for the University of Michigan come out because on the Common App, it says the school is rolling, but others say they come out in mid-April. Does anyone know for sure?
By the way, I'm a senior in high school applying as a freshman and I sent in my common app to them a month ago.

Thanks.

It is indeed rolling. Their response deadline is Mid-April. That means that all admission decisions will come out before Mid-April.

One question, did you inform a UMID prior to applying?

Huh? I have a UMID and activated it, but this was after I applied. I don’t understand your question…sorry

In the CommonApplication supplement there is a field for you to inform your UMID. Although it’s optional, it accelerates your application processing.

If you checked your application status and verified that all documents have been received by the faculty, don’t worry. Your decision should come out soon.

Thank you so much! But when you say soon, around how long?

They are rolling, so, if you have applied, I assume they should come out in January. Mid-April is the date when they will be giving the decisions to those who applied near February 1st.

I’m really sorry I keep asking you questions, but one last thing: do you know for a fact that Michigan is rolling? The reason I started this thread is because I keep seeing different things. On their website, it says they’re regular, but on the CommonApp, it says rolling. I’m afraid you just thought that I didn’t understand what rolling meant.
