<p>mom2collegekids - my son ended up at Wake Forest - best FA pkg and he just loves it there. I do want to add that he also received a very nice pkg from William & Mary - which surprised us as we are OOS and it is a public. I would have been happy with either school - he felt Wake Forest was a better fit for him as a sports fanatic and he has not been disappointed.</p>
<p>Just re-read some of the above posts regardign scholarships at Michigan. My son applied to the School of Kinesiology to be a sports mgmt major - not LSA. I don’t recall seeing any special scholarships that he should have applied for for that specific school/major - but I guess it is possible that we overlooked something.</p>
<p>I know that the Shipman is offered through the School of Kinesiology because there was a student attending the same year as my D. I don’t however know if the SofK adds additional $$ to the award or if other merit is given through the college.</p>

<p>Some/all Virginia publics do give FA to OOS kids. They must have some big endowments.</p>
