<p>Hi everyone. I am new to college confidential. I do not see a link or any posts regarding acceptances into the U of M BFA acting program for the class of 2015. I auditioned in February and haven't heard anything. Has anyone heard back? Any info would be great. Thanks.</p>
<p>Hi Michael - 2 of my students auditioned in Los Angeles and they just heard on Friday that they were accepted - this was by email. Best of luck to you!!!</p>
<p>Congratulations to them! How many students are accepted? I also auditioned for musical theater in Chicago a few days before my acting audition. Is one independent of the other? Do the departments communicate with each other? Thanks for your input.</p>

<p>Hi Michael - admissions to the Acting program and MT are completely separate - I have one student auditioning for both and I honestly don’t know how that would work if both departments wanted her. </p>
<p>The students I had who were accepted auditioned for acting. </p>
<p>This year’s freshman class has 19 students and the school told me they hope to have a class of 18 for the incoming year - I’m sure they accept more than that to yield that number and I know they have a small waitlist too!</p>

<p>Having two young people accepted into a class which is going to eventually number 18 is pretty darn good odds there actingmom!</p>
<p>Just FYI, Michigan has one more audition date – March 18. So don’t despair if you haven’t heard from them yet!</p>
