I'm applying to the University of Michigan LSA. I am a high school senior with a 3.8 gpa, a 27 ACT (I took it again recently, hopefully it went up to a 28-30), and a 1780 SAT. My extracurriculars are marching band, pep band, jazz band, all star band, and I am joining quiz bowl this year. My sophomore year I did a summer nuclear physics program. I have taken two AP courses (Literature and Language) I have taken history, biology, algebra, psychology, sociology, health, and french as dual enrollment courses. I will be taking a higher level psychology class and statistics later this year as dual enrollment. The reason I don't have more extracurriculars is because I have a job. I work 20-30 hours a week. I'm applying early action. The only other schools I am applying to are Central Michigan, and maybe Michigan State. So.... what are my chances? What can I do to make them better?

bump :/…

My stats are similar! Good luck to both of us :)

Indeed… haha I am SO STRESSED

I think your chances are on the slimmer side, but that certainly doesn’t mean you shouldn’t apply. The only way to know you’ll get rejected is not to apply at all. Good luck!
