Closing this thread, please post at the other one.

I don’t think I posted this so sorry, but I am a Junior right now, so I will apply for the class of 2019. I also want to apply to LSA.

You have a very good chance of getting in. I was accepted with the same gpa and lower ACT (28). You have pretty good ECs, you’re in-state, and make sure you write good essays. No need to worry. Also, make sure you take a rigorous schedule senior year.

Match. Try to bump up your GPA a bit more this semester.

You’ll get into MSU, Illinois is likely and Northwestern is a bit of a reach.

If you’re in in-state, you definitely have a good chance!! Try to get your G.P.A. up a bit, but I think you’ll be fine! Your volunteering and Ecs look good! The fact that you were in Student Council also looks good!

Match for umich and very likely to get into MSU and Illinois. Northwestern is a reach. Try to raise your GPA and keep doing your volunteering/ECs.

Just so you know, you don’t really need to retake the ACT for umich (not sure about the other schools). There isn’t a difference between a 32 and a 34/ for Michigan (current admissions officer at umich told me there was no difference between a 31 and 36).

Can someone please chance me for RD? I was deferred EA. I am a white male from New York and attend a very large high school. I have a 90 unweighted gpa and 95.5 weighted gpa. I have taken 8 honors and ap courses and have received 4’s on all of my ap’s! I got 680 on math 600 writing 530 reading on my SATS. I was ranked 78/790 in my high school. I have a very good common app essay and solid teacher recs. I am the treasurer and fundraising head of the national art honor society, director of communications for a breast cancer awareness club, have been captain of boys varsity tennis team since 10 th grade. Outside of school I teach tennis to children with autism and founded spread the dough in by state( bring food to homeless shelter. I have a couple more EC as well. If someone could chance me a would appreciate it. Thanks
