<p>You have a very good chance of getting in. I was accepted with the same gpa and lower ACT (28). You have pretty good ECs, you’re in-state, and make sure you write good essays. No need to worry. Also, make sure you take a rigorous schedule senior year.</p>
<p>If you’re in in-state, you definitely have a good chance!! Try to get your G.P.A. up a bit, but I think you’ll be fine! Your volunteering and Ecs look good! The fact that you were in Student Council also looks good!</p>
<p>Match for umich and very likely to get into MSU and Illinois. Northwestern is a reach. Try to raise your GPA and keep doing your volunteering/ECs.</p>
<p>Just so you know, you don’t really need to retake the ACT for umich (not sure about the other schools). There isn’t a difference between a 32 and a 34/ for Michigan (current admissions officer at umich told me there was no difference between a 31 and 36).</p>
<p>Can someone please chance me for RD? I was deferred EA. I am a white male from New York and attend a very large high school. I have a 90 unweighted gpa and 95.5 weighted gpa. I have taken 8 honors and ap courses and have received 4’s on all of my ap’s! I got 680 on math 600 writing 530 reading on my SATS. I was ranked 78/790 in my high school. I have a very good common app essay and solid teacher recs. I am the treasurer and fundraising head of the national art honor society, director of communications for a breast cancer awareness club, have been captain of boys varsity tennis team since 10 th grade. Outside of school I teach tennis to children with autism and founded spread the dough in by state( bring food to homeless shelter. I have a couple more EC as well.
