University of Michigan Class of 2017 Regular Decision

Looking like March 1st will be a release day. Fortunately, I have tomorrow off.

I’ve waited this long, I can wait another 24 hours, right? And of course, I could have no decision released tomorrow at all and have to wait till April.

Whatever happens, hoping for the best and expecting the worst… and good luck to all!

I just asked and:
Carrie : All we have been advised is that decisions will go out in April

Where have you heard that decisions will be out tomorrow? Is your source reliable?

i guess its only out for some ppl.

just curious, has anybody checked WA and already been able to see something?

One person heard on admissions live chat. Another said that their GC received an e-mail a few days ago.

My own guidance counselor hinted at the idea that more decisions would be released tomorrow (though he didn’t say for certain, maybe he was just pulling my leg. Darn you, GC!). All the same, I’m pretty certain at least a few decisions are coming out tomorrow. Lets cross our fingers and hope!

They 100% coming out a select batch tomorrow.

And you know this how???

she got an email from her guidance counselor. i don’t think someone would lie about that on here, so we’ll just have to wait & see

Wait, how “select” will this “batch” be?

is it possible that it’s the “special group” from the Deferred Letter #1?

I think it’s the letter 1’s… atleast I hope so, because that’s the one I got lol

It’s not going to necessarily be any particular group. Everyone is regular now.

I doubt they’ll start with the Deferred group. They probably will start with regular decision.

If anything it’s going to be the deferred group over the regular decision.

Are you kidding? They’ll start with regular decision to see the whole picture for this year. To see who the top and bottom students are. While they’re at it, they’ll think about how the deferred students fit into the whole picture. They deferred people for a reason. To compare them with the rest of the applicants. Why would they send out the decisions for deferred first?

They will start with the deferred first…they were the most interested in U of M to start with!!!

All deferred applicants are considered “regular decision applicants” now. That’s the point. There is no separate pool for deferred applicants.
That being said, I think all decisions are going to be released at random. I don’t see why they wouldn’t be.

If anything, we will all know for sure exactly one month from tomorrow! (or today, if you’re on a different time zone)
