Honestly I think everything but my stats (recs/essays/activities/etc) is what got me in. My numbers are average but I spent a lot of time writing my essays and made sure to be detailed about the “why UMich” one.
Any international acceptances???

Dang it, no update on decision other than having my mid year grade received (Feb 2nd)… Hopefully catch the next wave… There has been rumors regarding a Feb 15th update, anyone knows for sure? In previous years has anyone been accepted on Feb 15th?
@Kangyi19 and @SwissMoustache , the WA portal does not regularly operate at the time that you checked. It should be working now. I am international too, still says deferred for me. Let’s hope that this wave is not over JUST yet…
are there chances of further acceptances today? I thought they release a batch at a given time and then move on to the next date

No email yet. The update and acceptance under View Decision was literally one sentence saying congratulations and official acceptance email will be coming later
Don’t worry about your email acceptance. Congratulations you got in. The email one will come and you will get your acceptance packet with one most likely this week. Enjoy being accepted and forget the little stuff.
