does the ross decision come out tm as well or is it just lsa?
@Blaubach who is the source tho…
Did anyone see the post just now claiming decisions came out?
You may need to put this thread on hold for a couple hours - these new posters are getting out of hand. (Karma will get you some day, new posters.)
@Alec2435 Apparently a prank…those posters have been banned from the forum
It’s probably someone from that same Chicago Cook County school @skieurope mentioned earlier. You guys have to move to California, far more chill-laxed out here. :))
@Alec2435 where did you see that, can you please elaborate?

@cv1224 I would go with the same source who accurately announced last year’s decision date and time, who said it will be Wednesday at 3:00pm (not Christmas Eve).
Less than 24 hours now ? good luck all!
All - I had posted earlier about an email that an applicant received, which indicated that Michigan would not issue a decision on the applicant’s application until as late as early April. The applicant had applied to Michigan prior to November 1, and he thought that he had applied early action. Thus, the news of this email caused quite a stir, as it suggested that Michigan had begun notifying certain EA applicants as early as today.
Post script: the applicant contacted the admissions office this afternoon, and discovered that he had applied regular decision, not early decision. Thus, Michigan had, in fact, notified him today that he will not receive a decision until as late as April, but that is because he had not applied early action (apparently, he made a mistake with his application).
I apologize for the misinformation - when I posted news about the email that the applicant had received, it was based on an understanding that the applicant was EA, not regular decision. So, good intentions, but wrong result.
Y’ALL i literally open up college confidential to find SEVENTY FOUR NEW COMMENTS on this damn thread… y’all are wild i love it i hope each and everyone one of you (or your kid i guess) gets in because that was a wild ride
Good luck to everyone! Less than 24 hours until the decision! :)>-
Ahhhh so nervous for tomorrow!!
is it 3pm EST?
does LSA pretty much defer everyone early action?
Hi, Guys and Gals! First of all, Wish Everyone good luck on Michigan! Don’t stress too much, God knows the best.
I also found this song about Michigan on YouTube: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-uvPHL5Mqg&start_radio=1&list=RDl-uvPHL5Mqg)…XD, If nervous, just replay it. HaHa, Go Blue!
For last year’s class, Class of 2022, according to @SingingBusDriver about 8,000 EA apps were accepted from a total of almost 40,000 EA apps. So, across all schools at UMich, in-state and OOS, there was a 20% +/- acceptance rate. So, not everyone gets deferred.
to whoever asked above, michigan follows EST so decisions will be out at 3 EST
that seems so early in the day. For some reason I thought they released more like 5 or 6pm EST
