Deferred but just got admitted to Computer Science
I was deferred and just got accepted this afternoon into LSA with only a 30 ACT (OOS).
I have literal chills.
Accepted COE from CA. 34 ACT (35 SS) and 3.85 W GPA (school only submits W) 10AP/H by the end of this year
@pcftcp How is it possible? They don’t admit into CS directly, but either to LSA or CoE if you are interested in CS major.
@billcsho I mean I indicated CS major in my application and my essay and they admitted me to CoE. I don’t think that really matters though
fyi Accepted to CoE. GPA4.5W/4.0UW+2200SAT+10AP+lots of ECs
Has anyone heard yet from Kinesiology??
I didn’t get any decision today. Not gonna lie, I shed a tear or two, but the fight isn’t over yet! For those of us still deferred, there’s another wave coming in at the end of the month right? We can still do this! This wait doesn’t mean we didn’t get rejected. Remember, we’re deferred, not defeated!

OOS from Illinois. I sent my 7th semester grades and a letter of continued interest. I was extremely shocked that I got in, not going to lie.

Accepted to LSA today! I was not expecting the email, so it came as a pleasant surprise! BTW I did send an email expressing my continued interest in the school, and I think that’s what made the difference (my school’s mid-year reports have not been sent out yet).
I just got into school of kines today! I was deferred EA and got accepted today. I didn’t send a letter of intent or do anything further after receiving my initial decision.
Accepted to LSA today. My semester report definitely had no impact considering my school literally just sent thme to umich maybe 2 days ago. My followup email probably had a good effect though. Put a lot of effort into it, like a shorter essay I guess. Kinda bittersweet though considering I applied to NYU ED II and got the housing change.
I just found out that I was accepted to CoE Bioengineering! I’m so excited right now. I just sent in my second semester grade.
