University of Michigan Deferred Applicants Class of 2022

@Bella2018 That email you sent asking whether to send LOCI is practically a LOCI already.

Daughter just texted me with the good news. One of her friends reminded her to check the portal this morning. She would not know there was an update otherwise. She is OOS, LSA, NMSF (waiting for the notification on NMF), ACT 36, strong ECs with leadership positions. She sent a LOCI a couple of weeks ago to the regional AO, and got a generic response in a couple of days. Her school has not sent UM the senior year transcript yet.

My son’s decision tab is no longer there, but I have no idea when it disappeared. His grades were updated way back on Jan. 2 as his school is on trimesters. It could have been gone since then; I have no idea.

Any OOS acceptances in COE yet today? All the above are LSA.

For anyone who did get accepted today, when we’re your 7th semester grades submitted if you sent them? Mine were sent a few days ago so I’m not even sure if they opened them yet but I’m just hoping for a decision soon! Good luck to anyone else waiting and congrats to anyone who got admitted!!

yes accepted oos in coe today @LPROCK

My D was accepted OOS from CA, 34 ACT, 4.5 GPA, good EC’s, 9AP’s, 5 this year with straight A’s first semester, which were uploaded on 1/26. Sent only an email LOCI. Portal was updated at midnight EST, after the view decision button had disappeared a couple hours before that.

My first term senior grades were uploaded on Jan. 20 but I’m not exactly sure when my school sent them in. My school is on a trimester @tripgirl

Lol so it is February and not a single person has been rejected

D just received an email from admissions that she’s in. So the portal updated this morning then the email arrived a bit later.

Okay thanks @KMN345 ! If you don’t mind me asking, did you receive a decision some time today? And are you in state or out of state?

@billybobby54 Rejection notice has the lowest priority to them. Usually come out in the later rounds. Their top priority is to finish the reviewing and offering admission. Also, there will be a lot of rejection with wait list offer and some may get sophomore transfer offer. So it is not just a simple No.

Wondering the same thing. Most seem to be OOS.

OOS (MA) and I saw my decision this morning. My View Decision button was there when I checked WA yesterday around 3 pm, but I didn’t check WA again until I saw posts on cc this morning that some people were getting news. My WA page looked exactly the same except when I clicked on View Decision, the deferral letter was gone and the new info had been updated.

do you guys think I still have a chance if I haven’t gotten a new decision yet??

@kanadiankitkat Anyone not admitted yet still has a chance. This is just the first round of RD release.
@1751ccdrne Most applicants are from OOS anyway. Over 80% of applicants last year were OOS. It may be even higher this year.

Received notice of admission today after being deferred. OOS white female w/ 3.85 UWGPA, 4.23 W, 1530 SAT, strong extra curriculars (Debate Captain, ESL Program leader, American Legion Girls’ State delegate, swim coach, internship at Congressman’s office) related to intended major (PoliSci), sent LOCI in December after receiving deferral notice

Has anyone else heard anything recently?

Anyone thinking some decisions might be released tonight at midnight? Especially those whose decision tab is no longer there?

I got a decision today, a couple hours ago. I was accepted. They hadn’t received my midyear grades, only my LOCI.
