Daughter deferred, out of state: 3.71 WGPA, 30 ACT, 4 yr Varsity, founded club, works part time, volunteers, etc
Guys! I got an email at two hours ago saying I got accepted! I just woke up though so this is the best thing ever. Omg but how do we know if we got pre-admitted to business school O_o
a bitch was deferred!!! 33 ACT/ 3.8 GPA at #4 private school in country
@janevyl You won’t find that out until March.
@Henryboj33 Absolutely not. Deferrals can become acceptances fairly easily as I am led on to believe. It was mentioned earlier in the thread that if you write them a letter/email showing your profound interest in the school and maybe add a few things to your application, you could get an acceptance letter. Don’t be discouraged, it is very possible.
@NorthCoaster Wow, you really just said that? Wouldn’t you feel the same way if you didn’t get into your dream school?
I absolutely did not mean that people with 30 ACTs were undeserving/less qualified!! I was upset and kinda salty about being deferred and it came out wrong. I’m really sorry guys.
Is this the good or bad deferral letter? I remember people saying that something similar to what I received is the good one. But I also heard they are signed by different people (Erica and Theodore)

Darn I got deferred. The interest thing seems not work to me. I sent a sincere love letter with current grade report like last week( maybe to late?) and just received my deferral e-mail. 
Damn it I got deferred. OOS (FL), 4.4 GPA, IB diploma candidate, 28 ACT (avg. math but 33 in english & reading), lots of interesting/unusual extra-curriculars, numerous leadership positions both in school and out, summer manager of a distillery, blah blah blah. Mildly annoyed; not completely out of hope though. Does anyone know when you find out the final decision?
My daughter got deferred, 30 ACT and 3.8 unweighted GPA, it sounds like she should apply to lots of other schools-competition extremely tough at U of M.

Deferrals letters are not the same. @25senior25 letter seems like a good letter and he will later be accepted.
