University of Michigan Early Action Class of 2019 Discussion

I have the same things as JK0919 In the financial aid section. Do others not have the same? I also have an application showing up for Ross under the admission section in wolverine access.

Just found out that my cousin who went to UMich two years ago (we are both in-state) was deferred EA and accepted RD…it gives me hope…

all of my financial aid things say the same thing as JK0919 and joej7237 had. isn’t that just what everyone’s says or does anyone have anything different?

I’m in the same boat with the financial aid and Ross app box showing up. Why would they add all that stuff if it didn’t mean something? However, I guess you never truly know until that email comes along and tells you your answer…

Yeah I have those financial links and the Ross app as well. The Ross app does not mean anything (according to their Tumblr page), but no idea about the financial links.

I have the financial links as well. I don’t think they mean anything significant, other than just being uploaded early. I hope UMich got their stuff together this year and won’t be throwing out deferrals left and right just because they ran out of time to throughly review applications.

I still don’t understand how the Ross app means nothing. You need to be accepted by a college in u of m (ls&a engineering etc.) for your app to even be sent to Ross. Especially if it wasn’t there a couple weeks ago and as the deadline approached it appeared. I may be wrong but I think they’re just trying to cover up for

A few pages back, it was noted that WA may not be available all day tomorrow. I wonder if this means that answers could come earlier than the 19th. Answers probably will not be released tomorrow, but perhaps Wednesday or Thursday?

Yeah, it is kinda fishy that the application status of WA won’t be available for some time tomorrow…

Right - the Ross app means you’re all accepted early and the Umich Admissions is lying.

/s @-)

Has anyone heard back yet???

So when the decisions do come out, where on WA will they be? Like once I click Application Status, will it be obvious where to look?

You first get an email notifying you. Sometimes, WA won’t even be updated for a while after you’ve already been accepted through email. I would just watch my email this week, not WA.

On WA, next to credentials on the Application Status page, there will be a link saying View Application Decision. Also I heard the opposite, WA will be updated first before the email.

Past years, it’s always been email first, then WA. But, maybe this year it could be different…

I can see how UMich lying about the Ross apps would be sketchy for sure, but there is something a little weird about it, because for me at least, my Ross app showed up weeks after they processed my LSA app, and I’m 99% sure I’m not alone in that. Obviously they have no reason to lie, but it does look a little weird.

college confidential literally worsens my ego of getting into college. self esteem at an all time low :////

Yes same, weeks later the Ross app was present after the LSA. hmm this is sus

My Ross app showed up recently too. Have you guys heard of anyone who applied preferred admission and who it hasn’t shown up for?

Where is the Ross app present? Is it under the financial aid things?
