I am looking at:
NYU
U of Maryland
Barnard
Emory
U of Delaware
U of Miami
Tulane
Rutgers
University of Michigan but i think ill ED this one

Please tell me my chances!!!

Are you out of state for Michigan? I’d say in state it’s looking pretty good, but out of state might be more difficult. (they don’t superscore).

Also, Michigan doesn’t have ED, only EA which means if it truly is your first choice, then you can apply to a big reach ED since you have nothing to lose! ;)

Yeah im out of state but michigan does like my school alot

CHANCES:
U of Delaware: Safety
U of Maryland: Low match
U of Miami: Low match
Rutgers: Low match
NYU: Mid match
University of Michigan: Mid match
Emory: High match
Tulane: High match / low reach
Barnard: Low reach

Honestly, the fact that you’ve taken a lot of standard-level classes won’t look good to top colleges, but what’s good is that it’s obvious that you’re a strong, dedicated student. Also, I’d recommend that you retake the SAT (unless you’ve already taken it 3+ times).

Good luck! :)

The 2013 admission stat for UMich came out. The average GPA is 3.85 while the mid 50 SAT is 2030-2250. As you can tell you are slightly above 25%. Considering the 33% acceptance rate and your oos status, it would be a high match to low reach for you. What is your intended major?

I would be undecided and going to the Literature, Science, and the Arts

solid gpa and test scores, although it would have been better if u would have taken more APs earlier in HS. EC are decent, any leadership roles to show off to an admissions committee?

NYU match
U of Maryland match
Barnard low reach
Emory low reach/match
U of Delaware match
U of Miami match
Tulane match
Rutgers match
University of Michigan but i think ill ED this one match

chance back!

I am President of Animal Alliance, am setting up an adoption day with the local animal shelter, named Assistant Head of Costumes for the High School Drama and Theatre department, tutor large groups of little children for the local library, and teach younger volunteers on how to handle animals at the shelter

please can someone give me some scoop!

Any help please!!!

NYU: low match
U of Maryland: match
Barnard: low match
Emory: Low reach/high match
U of Delaware: low match
U of Miami: match
Tulane: match
Rutgers: match
University of Michigan: Match (They use UW GPA and yours is really far above the accepted average of 3.83. Your classes are a little easier though than those of the students I know who got.) I think you have a good shot, especially in state
