@buddy92 It is going to 7-14 days just to get the forms they want from the IRS sent to me, and then I have to mail them from California… Earliest I see them getting to U-M is like 4/27. I don’t know what they’re thinking
Also, I’d love more time to make decisions. I want to go visit the campus, but that’s impossible right now. Finals and what not are two to three weeks away for me…
Denied from LSA today around 12pm. Intended Economics major.
I am so sorry about that. But are you a freshman? I mean is it because you don’t have enough credits for transfer? @YankeesBeisbol ol
I was checking my status hourly and found View Decision. Accepted- Brief Info: OOS Community College LSA-Undeclared, but intended Economics. GPA: 4.0 with 63 credits (without D, F Ws) Applied Feb 1st. I cannot believe it because I did not get the e-mail or mail yet.
Cong! When did they receive all your application materials? @Allpassguy
@luckybaby Thanks! I am not sure when they receive all my materials, but the Application date on Wolverine access says 2017-02-02
That’s alright. I am increasingly worried about the decision. Best wishes!
@luckybaby No, I’ll have 66 credits after this current semester, I was trying to transfer in as a junior. I was under qualified though, no big deal.
Cheer up ~ The best is yet to come @YankeesBeisbol
Rejected, CoE. Submitted application last week of January. Received email today at noon. No link in wolverine access.
Good luck everyone.
So as of right now, Michigan is the only school I’ve been accepted to. I haven’t been rejected yet by any schools but I’m still waiting on the decisions from USC, Stanford and UCLA. UCLA releases decisions late April and Stanford and USC dont release their decisions until May. My parents and I agreed that if we don’t hear back from any other schools by May 1st, they will go ahead and submit the non refundable enrollment deposit of $300 just in case I don’t get accepted by any of the other schools. I have already been offered a generous amount of financial aid from Michigan and was wondering if when I submit my enrollment deposit, do I also have to accept the financial aid package right then and there? I just don’t want to be penalized by the office of financial aid if I do get accepted to one of the other schools and end up choosing to attend one of them if they give me better financial aid…
@DinsoresRfake what are your stats? I was rejected, too for CoE, but they rejected me because of incomplete prerequisites, which is not true. I will be taking my last three classes in the summer. so, I will have everything completed by the fall. I called them and they said that my application may be reconsidered since they didn’t know that? again, how would they know since they didn’t ask??? anyways, now I am waiting to see if they will be nice enough to deny my admission due to legitimate reasons
Are there any repercussions for paying the deposit and not going (other than losing $300)?
@ladymmm66 I am rejected for the same reason but I will complete all the prereqs by the end of this semester… How did they make sure that the applicants finish all the prereqs? Did they even look at what classes we are taking this semester??
@greenteaa , i talked to a counselor
@greenteaa , I don’t know exactly how they check, but they don’t do a great job.
@greenteaa, same thing happened to me for CoE. They said I didn’t meet all the prerequisites but I’m completing them this semester.
@ladymmm66 did you mention in the application that you will complete prereqs in summer?? who should i talk to about incomplete prereqs in admissions?
@greenteaa, I didn’t mention it, because the common application prompted me only for the classes I was going to take in the fall and winter semester. I didn’t realize that there is no way they could of known for my plans to take classes in the summer. I called the office of admissions and they told me to contact whoever had worked on my application. You should call, too.
