Current College: Top 50 university
College GPA: 4.0, taking 2 graduate school courses
Midyear GPA: 4.0
14 credits last semester, taking 16 now.
Had lots of AP credit.
EC: club sports, lots of volunteer work,
HS GPA: 4.0 at a top 10 boarding school in the country
8 APs with scores ranging from 3-5
ACT: 35 with writing
*also, applied last year but was deferred then rejected

Current College: Out of State CC.
College GPA: 3.51
Extra CC: 4 Research Conferences, 1 research internship, 2 clubs of which I was on the board, female hackathon coordinator 
@brilliant21 How many college credits will you have by the end of this semester? I’m shocked that you were rejected, those stats are near flawless.
It sounds strange for you to transfer I guess
for those who’ve heard back already, when did you turn in your application?
@Overestimated I received an email from my counselor today informed that I seem like missing the provement of physics 1 ,2, programming, and English. I was just shocked that because I believe I already finished all the prerequisite for COE and my transcript and AP scores could tell them everything. How did you prove you have fulfilled those prerequisite? Did you send any other supplement materials?
@GoatNavi either you didn’t submit the right transcripts or you did not meet the requirements. I have to take an English course because I did not meet their requirements. After I showed proof of registration for the class I was accepted. What exactly did your email say?
@Overestimated my counselor said “Additionally it appears you are still missing Physics I & lab, Physics II & lab, programming, and English. These are pre-requisite courses for our College of Engineering. Are you planning to take all of these courses this summer?”
BTW, I dont think I sent a wrong transcript because I sent it directly from my college register office.
@GoatNavi okay so this might be a dumb question for you but did you actually take the courses? Make sure you took calc based physics and a programming class that uses C++. I would reccomend looking at the course equivalency database. Did you email your AO back explaining that you already took these courses? I really have no clue because if you say you took them but they say you didn’t, I would believe Michigan and think you didn’t take them. If you did then make sure all AP scores and transcripts were received. Make sure you send every transcript from each school you’ve attended, every high school, every college.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but does it seem like LSA has suddenly stopped releasing the amount of decisions they were previously? I feel like this thread has been way more quiet than in past weeks. It seems like after that whole email thing, nobody has heard anything except for a few people. I realize maybe people didn’t get good news so they aren’t posting to share, it just seems strange. But, I guess for now no news is good news :-?

anyone got their last material received around 2/22 and already get a decision? I am freaking nervous now. its been a month.

@unusually I forgot to mail my high school transcript. So it was shown not received when I received my portal the first time. Then I mailed it and it changed to received on 2/22
@racheliiiiii my last material was received on 3/15 and I have still not heard back so don’t be nervous
