Good luck, guys.
@ScarletRain Congrats!!! how did u send in your midterm report?
I sent it to a email Account, I forgot it. If your decision has not come out, you’d better contact with the admission office to get the account and send your mid-term report. I think it is helpful. @transferfrombucknell101 . Thank you!
I forgot the address. You’d better ask the admission office. I am sorry. @tansferfrombucknell101
it is Transcripts@Umichi.edu I find it in my record. @transferfrombucknell101
when was ur app marked complete? @ScarletRain
Just got accepted into CoE for Mechanical Engineering. Let me know if you have any questions, good luck everyone.
Brother got into CoE as a UM-Dearborn transfer last Monday…happy for him!
@tccl789 Yes! We have to complete Engineering 101, but I guess C++ is preferred. I don’t know if they would accept other Engineering 101 class. Check course equivalencies.
I received this email recently from a admissions rep at u of m,” We are in the process of reviewing your application for the Fall 2018 and noticed that the English course that you took at Washtenaw Community College is not equivalent to U-M’s English 125. The course that you took only transfers in for department credit. The College of Engineering is requesting that you take an equivalent English course prior to the fall term in order to be admissible. We ask that you submit registration paperwork by March 30, 2018.”
My question is: what are my chances of being accepted? I emailed them back saying I am going to register for a summer class. Is this protocol or are they interested in me?
The same thing happened to me for diff eq. After I submitted proof of enrollment, I was accepted the next day. The way I see it, if they weren’t interested you would just get a rejection. They WILL NOT admit you without the pre -reqs done so I interpreted my email and yours as, “were ready to admit you but we can’t until you have completed our pre-reqs”. I may be wrong but why would they waste your time otherwise.
is what you saying is providing additional course information for diff eq?I received that email and after submitting the PDFs it said that course evaluation generally takes 2~3 weeks in this time period.
I am a rising junior, and also apply for ME. Did you send the midterm report?
@GoatNavi
No what you are referring to is the request for additional materials for a transfer course evaluation.
What Overestimated is asking about is a proof of enrollment to show that all pre-reqs will be completed before starting at UMich if they haven’t been already.
@GoatNavi
I did not send my mid-term report, Michigan doesn’t require one. If you feel that you’re application is very strong already, I can’t see the midterm report being the deciding factor for admissions. On the other hand lets say you have 3.68 and you midterm report shows all A’s which puts you on track for maybe a mid to high 3.7 GPA, then I’d imagine it would be worth sending.
Hi @shermama96, how to see whether the app is complete or not? Btw, would you like to share some stats of yours?
I apply for CS. Thx.
Am I the only one who is anxiously waiting and frantically checking the wolverine access website every hour of every hour of every day? How do I know if my application is ‘marked as complete’???
@Jd12345 nope, I’ve been doing the same!! It’s slowly driving me insane. I believe the day your last required materials were received is when it’s marked as complete. My transcript was received a week after the deadline, so I’m guessing I won’t hear back for at least another two weeks
@kmwumich Consider yourself lucky, my last material was recieved on 2/15… Also I’ve heard that if you are admitted then you will see a “view decision” link in the wolverine access, if not, then you will only just an email…
