Hey guys. I’ve been following this thread all year and the regular Michigan class of 2022 all year last year. After getting deferred, waitlisted, and ultimately rejected last year, I’m happy to say that today I was ACCEPTED to LSA!!
I’m a white female, applied to LSA as Computer Science major. I’m transferring from an OOS University in Chicago, not as prestigious as Umich. My GPA was 3.56 but I am taking higher level Computer Science classes than most freshmen. My high school GPA was 4.3, ACT 32, and I had tons of leadership and extracurriculars in high school but only a couple of things for college. I will have 36 credits by the end of this year, but only like 32 of them transfer. I had 3 LOR- 2 academic from professors, 1 personal, and my essays were pretty solid. I am an in-state Michigan resident, but I have to apply to change it since I’m currently considered out of state as I’m living OOS currently. Wishing everyone best of luck, got the email at 3:23 EST today!

@blueblue22
congratulations. I am majoring computer science too. Maybe we will connect on campus :smiley:

@blueblue22 same haha

Has anyone heard from the College of Engineering yet?

@Andreaumich21 Also anxiously waiting to hear from COE

It’s spring break so I doubt we will hear back this week anytime.

I got accepted but got no scholarships, and because I’m OOS all my fees would total to a yearly $64,386 (UMich sent me a financial report email). Ahhhhh this sucks because it’s one of my top choices but soooo expensive!!!

Btw good luck everyone! :slight_smile: I got accepted last month if you have any questions about my stats/application.

Does “application materials are being processed” mean the same as reviewed?

I got accepted on 3/5 for COE, CS. My application was completed on 12/19. I will not be providing stats.

Cool! Please let me know if you receive your decision! Good Luck!

omg I’m really nervous about the decision!!

Will they release more decisions tomorrow? Typically I think they’ll release many decisions on weekends.

I got accepted to LSA (Biology) on Saturday 3/2, I applied mid-January. I’m a junior transfer from a Top 50 public OOS, have a 3.5

anyone hear from kines (specifically sm) yet?

Did you have all the pre-reqs complete?

^@collegegoer171

I applied for SM too, but I didn’t hear back yet.
