University of Michigan Fall 2019 Transfer Thread

@anniepa @EthanAz1 Hi I was accepted on Friday. I’m wondering how long it took for you guys to receive your financial aid letters.

@kmalin i’m a freshman at msu right now and i got in for fall’19. I don’t think that it will make a difference. The main thing is gpa, extracurriculars, and experience(more as u get older).

@UMICHCSLSA not sure. I wasn’t expecting any financial aid so i didn’t really pay attention to any of that too much.

@UMICHCSLSA Congratulations! For me it took a little under two weeks to get the financial aid info.

@EthanAz1 Thanks for the help!

I called the admission office and they said my application was still under review and my decision has not yet been made. They said the decision is released based on the time your application materials are complete. I think there is still some time for me to wait lol.

@GoBlue2233 I haven’t heard back from LSA yet either, and it’s killing me. All of this waiting sucks, but just know you’re not the only one! Best of luck to you!

@transferapps23 Thank you!! Good luck to you too!

I haven’t got a response either. Hopefully, the results come out this week. Good luck to your guys.

Also still waiting on LSA. Extremely nerve wracking but it is what it is.

@adityag345 Yeah, I’m pretty confident you’ll get in.

I have not heard anything back yet (CS LSA) - I believe my materials were completed on February 12th, but had mid-term grades requested - those were received on March 24. At this point, I am really really nervous. I’m hoping all of us get a decision this week itself!

Still no response. No mood for preparing midterm at all. SAD

Got email this morning that I got in. College of Engineers CS BSE. 3.6 HS gpa, 3.5 community college GPA. all requirements completed. Interned at a startup last summer and work as a physics SI leader at my college. Essays and LOR were really strong.

What time have emails been sent out?

LSA Admitted. Didn’t receive email, got it through mail.

You didn’t get an email, just from the mail?

Should we be worried that it’s taking this long? I am stressing out so hard rn.
