@1styeartransfer , I have to laugh at you describing your essays as “pretty cringey.” Hopefully bodes well for admissions to other schools of engineering for my son…that schools of engineering aren’t looking for English majors.

@1styeartransfer are you currently taking any prerequisites for engineering or did you satisfy all of them before this semester (when most colleges moved classes online)?
I am currently taking Comp Sci(although I already have it covered with a 5 on AP CompSci Principles), my second English course(which CoE decided would cover 125 when combined with my first English class), Linear Algebra&DiffEQ(combined class), General Chem 1(which I found out won’t cover Chem 125/126 but I got in anyways), and Circuits. I finished all my physics last semester.

Anybody got more updates/decisions from CoE?
Is anyone considering living on campus? I’m a junior, Asian female. Majors are math and linguistics/cognitive science (I’m doing linguistics now but I might switch to cogsci in UMich). Plz text me if you are interested in being roommates:)
Just curious, is UM going to send us a physical admitted letter/ package as transfer? I heard USC will not sending any paper copy this year for transfers because everything that’s been going on, but is it the same for UM?
I was recently accepted to LSA for CS as well. There seems to be a lot of CS transfers to LSA this year. I never received an email, but my portal updated.
