University of Michigan --- LSA or Engineering for CS?

I’m applying to Umich for CS, and I can’t decide between LSA and Engineering. I had a few questions. On the website LSA seems to have several tracks for CS, like cybersecurity and AI, but I couldn’t find any of that on the CSE page. Are those tracks also offered out of Engineering or would I not have those opportunities in that college?
I know the classes are otherwise very similar, and I’m pretty sure I want to do engineering, but would I still be able to take a few classes out of LSA if I wanted to? I’m not looking to double major, I would just be interested in a history or music class here and there.
And, what are the core requirements like for both schools? Is a BSE better than a BS?

I really appreciate it!

The CS majors are pretty similar in LSA and CoE, however, the school graduation requirement are different. For instance, you would need to fulfill foreign language requirement in LSA but not CoE. There are also some other differences in honors program, scholarships availability, etc. There is no difference in taking history or music classes whether you are in LSA or CoE.

Regrettably i wish I would’ve done LSA CS since the school requirements are easier. No physics 140/240, no calc 3, calc 4, and other tech electives. Freshman and sophomore year would been less stressful and more time socializing. People tend to think college should about choosing the hardest major and the highest GPA possible. The memories and friends you make in college will last a lifetime whereas your GPA only matters less than 2 years after graduation

Your GPA matters for grad school. CS grads are recruited identically in LSA or ENG.
