University Of Michigan/Northwestern

Will someone tell me my chances of getting into Michigan, Northwestern and Boston University? I am currently a junior.

GPA:
UW 3.58 W:4.1
By the time I graduate, I will have taken these AP/Honors Courses:
AP Us History, AP US Government, AP Language, AP Statistics, AP Psychology, AP Enviromental Science, Honors English (9 & 10), Honors Spanish 5, Honors Humanities and spanish at the community college for my senior year.

Scores:
Just got my first ACT scores back, and composite was a 28, but I am expecting to end up with a 31 or 32.

Extracurricular:
Involved in the theatre company, I have done every single production each year.
I am the head of the make-up committee for the theatre program
National Honor Society
I have been on the school Forensic Team and will (hopefully) be captain next year
Babysitting
Volunteer: Various organizations throughout the year and the summer
School Mentor Program
French-Spanish Club
Next year I will hold a position on the executive board for the theatre company

What are my chances for those schools? I am planning on going for a double major in theatre and communications/political science. Thanks!

I’d say you have a good shot at each of those schools. you have strong academics and a lots of ecs.plus AP courses which colleges like to see (it shows advanced study at the highschool level) best of luck!

chance me back?

Assuming you get a 32:

Umich - High match
Northwestern - Reach

Your course rigor is average and extracurriculars are ok, but your GPA and ACT are below average. With those stats, both schools are reaches.

If you get 32, then

NW: Reach
UMich: Good chance

Are you in-state for Mich? Seems that so far this year the only kids who have been admitted to UMich from OOS had about a 3.85 UW or higher. You are definitely low in the GPA, combined with your scores, I would say UMich is a definite reach unless you are in-state.

All reach except Boston.
