Do you want to be apart of a student body who boasts an SAT average above 1400 or one that is barely over a 1300?

Georgetown mid-50% SAT (superscore): 1290-1490

The Jesuits... believe in developing the whole person not just rote memorization of facts or purely scientific inquiry but to also tackle challenging philosophical and religious issues. I think they are correct to do so.

maybe that's what the jesuits are believing. but i don't feel clinton or those politicians appear to be that religious. i'd suggest you to forget about the "developing the whole person" part and just compare the atmosphere, the academic program you are interested in, and the social scene..etc. by the way, i don't believe georgetown is more respected than michigan everywhere in the world (i am a foreigner from hong kong). georgetown is known in the political circle and imo, not as versatile as michigan. it's relativley weak in most other academic fields, at least as far as research productivity goes.

^I dunno... I've heard of people giving up ivies to attend georgetown, even some people from harvard... It must be pretty good if that happens

well, maybe they were very interested in SFS programs but other top schools don't offer them.
