is the portal down? is that some sign?

Mine’s down too

@yoyoyo1234 yes, the portal’s down but I don’t know, can they release the decisions at midnight?

Lol, just spare us Michigan… (I usually check around this time, but it’s never down this early)

well looks like its just a maintenance… just reject me already michigan…

I applied on October 12th to LSA and rec’d email on Dec 19th that application being deferred. What confuses me is why some people who applied EA have heard nothing and I got deferred…which is better? hearing nothing or being deferred…just curious.

@collegegal2019 - was curious how your visit to UMich went and if you had any success with the financial aid office?

Since UMich admits by school, first year CoE students would be undeclared? And then they would declare a major by their 2nd year?

@Dhruv97 Yes, you can declare major after the first semester of freshmen.

@billcsho‌ Are you guaranteed a spot in your preferred major at that point?

There are certain major with GPA requirement. Others still need a GPA 2.0 I think.

Hey guys, did any of yall get financial aid from UMich yet? How much did yall get?

@Dhruv97 Here is more info about declaring major in CoE:

If you apply to a dual degree program, is it normal to hear back from them one at a time? Today I got an email saying I was accepted at STAMPS but I wanted to do a dual agree with LSA. Should I expect to hear from them later or…?

When do decisions come out? Im going crazy waiting!!!

@alambert221 Decisions have been coming out since a month and a half ago. They will continue to announce admission/rejection/waitlist in the next 2-3 weeks.

@billcsho‌ how do you find out? Email, call, letter, or Wolverine access?

@twoheadedgirl My daughter was admitted EA to LSA and then Stamps sometime midFebruary, though she applied to both at the same time. Her good friend had the same experience. So yes, I believe it is normal to hear from the colleges separately. Hope you hear good news soon!

Just posted thIs on EA thread…but noticed a couple of tweets today that posted an acceptance. Ughhhh! Still no change in D’s portal though. After being offered guaranteed transfer admission for Fall 2016 at Boston Univ and then Spring 2016 admission at UMiami, we’re really hoping for a favorable outcome from UMich. So frustrating.

so is it true if you haven’t heard yet its a rejection?
