University of Michigan Regular Decision Class of 2022

When will decisions be released?

Same question here. When is the next wave of decisions?

So, I was checking my applicant portal after not looking at it purely out of dread, and on the section for mid-February grades it said they had been waived when I swear I had my counselor send them in? What does this mean, exactly?

Generally, it means that Michigan did not feel it necessary to see more of your academic credentials. Sometimes, if a student’s academic record is inconsistent, Michigan will ask for the 7th semester grades. In other cases, the academic record is consistent and Michigan does not request 7th semester grades. In your case, Michigan waived the 7th semester grades requirement, so the University feels that your academic record is reliably strong.

not able to getinto the portal, anyone else facing similar problem?

I can still access the portal
@retailish235 just curious, where exactly did you find the section that has Mid-February grades?

@davy901 It’s in the credentials page, under “Other Required Application Materials”

So is a wave being expected this Friday?

We all hope so. I have so many friends waiting on this decision.

Do you mind sharing your grades like GPA,ACT or SAT?

C’mon Michigan - Notre Dame and Northwestern released decisions today. Argh!

Does applying to Ross make it take longer for me to receive my decision?

My friend was admitted to Ross on March 9th.
He got an email from UMich telling him to check his decision and there was another link to his official letter which stated that he had been admitted to preferred admission at Ross.
(He applied to UMich LSA Actuarial Science)

His stats just for reference:
SAT: 1300
1250 (He got a lower score the second time)

GPA/Percentage - 90%

Nationality - Indian(International student)

ECs: 1) Interned at an NGO
2) Cricketer
3) Drummer
4) An award winning scout
5) Organized school fest with an attendance of 30k students
6) Participated in a state wide initiative to save water

Essays: Borderline amazing 8/10, Ross portfolio about an app to share used books with NGO’s and the large no. of children who don’t get to go to school in India.

LOR’s : Decent , 7/10

Decisions today or tomorrow?

What dates are the most likely for this next release? Anyone holding out hope for today?

There are trickle of releases on the other threads from engineering to Ross.

how about LSA?

This is getting really annoying. At least all my other colleges have provided the exact dates that decisions will be released.

Does the fact that I’ve not got a decision yet mean my application is weak? Or does it just depend on when I applied?
