University of Michigan Regular Decision Class of 2022

@CollegeGeek12345 Did you check on Wolverine Access under application status? My rejection was there but I did not get an email.

Accepted School of Nursing!
Plus, with NROTC, I will get full tuition plus room and board so I’m seriously considering, but debating between UMich, USC, and UCSD.
ACT- 35
GPA 3.93 unweighted, 4.45 weighted

Rejected, sadly… I still haven’t been accepted to a school that has my major (Aerospace Engineering)…

Stats-
OOS, from Rhode Island
GPA- 3.7 UW/ 4.1 W
1510 SAT
5 APs and a dual enrollment class
ECs- 4 years in band, 2 year community service project, 3 years on schools math league, 2 years in Science Olympiad (medaled in an event), 2 varsity sports, member of NHS

official email just came out

@ anon137 don’t feel bad its been a super competitive and super weird year for acceptances- I see people with 1400 SAT get into schools and people with 1580 get rejected- no rhyme or reason other than holistic approach and maybe yield protection

Rejected

Major: Mechanical Engineering
UW GPA: 3.83 W GPA: 4.04
ACT: 34
SAT Subject Test: 790 Math 2
AP Exam: 4 AP Physics 1

This was my final college decision! It’s over :smiley: Also, congrats to those accepted!

Yeah, I’ve heard that a lot this year. It just kinda sucks because I even got waitlisted from what I thought was a safety…
I’ve already heard back from all my schools and was only accepted to 1 and it doesn’t even have my major, it was my “if all else fails” school. Wasn’t going to apply, but now I’m glad I did because now it’s my only option

Rejected! Thought this would be a reasonably certain admit. Got into Dartmouth, Emory, USC, Wellesley, Berkley, and Cornell but not Michigan?!? Oh well. This was the final school I was waiting on. Wishing all the admits nothing but good wishes and congratulations.

Waitlisted LSA Econ

Super upset when I saw Berkeley’s rejection letter but UMichigan’s acceptance to college of engineering truly serves as a consolation to me.
Good luck to everyone!

did financial aid and awards come out for those who were just accepted? i was just accepted to college of LSA.

@xEggo5x
I don’t think they came out yet. It probably took them a couple days or weeks to figure out students’ financial aid stuff. I hope they’ll give me generous aid since I’m OOS with reasonably low income.

Accepted. It was a long wait after fall deferral.
Major: Engineering

Do a lot of people get waitlisted? :confused:

I got accepted to LSA, but i think it says I got no financial aid (I can’t really tell, like it says it’s not official yet when I look at it—so not sure if it was released) and I am out of state, so like the tuition is impossible unless I get some aid. Did anyone else get their financial aid?

@Tambor12345
Not yet. I also got in from out of state and I’m pretty sure I’m eligible for aid but I still don’t see it, so they’re probably not yet available.
