Next release date probably won’t be until March as stated by Ms. Blaire Moody Rideout.
@TheShortSon where’d you see this at?
@pdizzla re:“so there may be quite a few people who decided to wait a little longer to complete their portfolio, missed the EA deadline, and are no longer considered priority” are you referring to the Nov 1 deadline? Or the 2/1 deadline with 2/8 Portfolio ?
My son applied 2/1 and then when he went to upload his portfolio at the top of the page it said it was due 2/8 which caused a lot of confusion.
He wasn’t sure whether to take advantage of a few extra days or if it was a typo or something. We could not find anything at all on the Ross site to indicate 2/8 was acceptable so he didn’t want to chance it and submitted everything 2/1.
Just curious what his acceptance chance is being a 2/1 applicant vs. 11/1. Sounds like everyone did 11/1
@bluebird17 I was referring to the 11/1 deadline, however I honestly have no idea what the chances are for anyone who submitted their application by either deadline. I was just speculating that this year, the signs point to 2017 grads having the easiest time getting into Ross in quite a while, assuming that they applied EA.
If you missed the EA deadline this year, it’d be the best year to do so, as the priority for EA applicants was not well-advertised. I honestly had no idea EA applicants had priority until early December, and even considered waiting until after 11/1 to allow myself to work on the portfolio. I ended up not waiting: not because I knew I’d have priority, but because I just wanted to get it over with.
Don’t take my guesses as truth, however. Here’s a link to the ross website where it talks about the EA priority:

@pdizzla- thanks for your thoughts and the info! We were happy to see the preferred admission changes which helps a lot! Just wish he had done 11/1 - definitely seems like the way to go but he would not have had the portfolio ready either then.
I honestly cannot wait. Ross BBA is my top choice.
Just got a large envelope from Ross. Had a fun Michigan Ross flag and printed letter of acceptance. ^^ Best of luck to all those still waiting!
Future Ross…shut the heck up…that is so incredible! Congratulations and thanks for sharing the awesome news…
@pdizzla Wait you got into LSA after deferral already? That’s awesome, but I thought our decisions weren’t going to be released until early April?
@pdizzla I was admitted LSA after being deferred last Thursday. When might I hear back from Ross?
Anyone think more will be released today?
Has anyone been rejected by Ross yet, or has the only decisions to come out so far been Acceptances?
@RestinPeaceUM Yeah, a few people have been getting in every couple weeks. Check out the deferral thread
@TheShortSon Lol, I really don’t know what the Ross schedule is like. There COULD be a wave today after 5. Look at @bmoodyrideout on twitter. There’s only been one release date so far for pre-admits, and it was 2/3 at 5.
Before the first wave came out, she tweeted something like “Hmm… which Friday should we pick to start sending out Preferred Admission decisions?”, which I guess would imply that PA decisions are only coming out on Fridays. I’ve been checking everyday a little after 5.
did anyone get anything
@aphenoPHILIA not me
Lmao. I got rejected from my state school (UT Austin - McCombs). Yet, I got into UMich. College admissions are so weird.
I’m too woke right now.
@TheShortSon, Sorry to hear about McCombs. Did you get into Ross? If so, hard to understand how UT passed.
@BigPapiofthree I haven’t heard back from Ross. When might I hear back?
