No, this is not a thing either. Admissions officers see so many applications. This person (and you) are waaaay over-thinking this. They will spend 5-8 minutes on her application. Maybe less. A zillion people apply to Ross and other programs, and nobody is appreciating anybody’s effort. They have too many other things to think about. Think of the context in which her application is reviewed. She is one of 65,000 applicants. No special thought will go into hers specifically.
