Hey! Have any prospective transfer students heard from U of M yet?

I am applying for Fall 2011 transfer to LSA as a Junior. I applied on 26 January and still haven't heard anything, even though I called admissions and they've confirmed that all my materials were in, etc.

Anyway, I'm going NUTS with the waiting. Is anybody else being driven crazy by the uncertainty of not having heard yet?

Or if you have heard, when did you apply/how did you find out (Wolverine Access, email, letter, etc.)/when did you find out?

Thanks so much. Good luck to all of us, I guess!

still have not heard anything. Rolling admissions gr. I guess we will hear back in between now and april. I’ve seen a lot of people get rejected on this thread and only a few get accepted…someone said they pushed back the deadline on another thread, but I didn’t see anything on the website about that?

I just called the admissions office and asked, and they confirmed that the “pushed deadline” is JUST A RUMOR. I have no idea what that girl on the other thread was talking about, because she claimed that she called the admissions office too, but the girl in the office told me firmly NOT TO BELIEVE IT.

I don’t understand why people post things on these boards that aren’t true… sigh.

Anyway, do you really think we’ll have to wait all the way until April? If that’s true, most people will probably have made other plans because they couldn’t wait on Michigan. That seems like… not very good planning to me.

Wait, UM has rolling admissions for transfer students?? I applied Jan. 13, but UM never received my transcript. My community college finally did submit my transcript Jan. 31! This probably means that I’ll have to wait even longer, right?

I know this thread isn’t really active anymore but I just wanted to let everyone know that I received my acceptance on Wolverine Access yesterday, 3/17. I don’t know if anyone else has heard - these rolling admissions are confusing - but if so, congrats!
