hi i was thinking to apply ot university of michigan but i was not sure which one should i apply. please help me.
i am thinking to do a major in computer engineering or probably chemical engineering. which one of the following has a higher acceptance rate and those major that i am intrested, let me know asap.
thanks

Ann Arbor is by far the best, but the lowest acceptance rate.

I wouldn't even consider Flint (Flint scares me and doesn't even have dorms), but more than that, it only offers a regular engineering degree. Dearborn offers a computer engineering degree, but not a chemical engineering.

Personally, I think you should probably try for both Dearborn and Ann Arbor. I think it's free to apply to both, so you might as well.

UMich acceptance rate is acutually pretty high, i heard a little over 50%, which is EXTREMELY generous for a school like umich..... i say its worth a try to all of them

I live in Georgia and a lot of the kids in our top 15 percent (big deal in our school..its number one public school in the state) drool over UMich..as do I.

UMich Ann Arbor all the way.

All their programs rate in the top 20 or above.

and engineering at UMich is ridiculously great!!

Ok, Im in a weird situation...I live in Ann Arbor, but I go to Dearborn...becuase i didnt work hard enough in highschool to get the grades to attend Ann Arbor(Thats why Im transferring).
Its not even funny to compare Dearborn to Ann Arbor...much less Flint. Ann Arbor is way way way better than the latter two. Ann Arbor has an amazing chemical engineering department...way better than Flint or Dearborn. Dont even think about applying to FLint, cause you'll probably get shot one day(Bad neighborhood). Dearborn is a little better, but again, Ann Arbor is the main campus, as Dearborn and Flint are just flimsy branch campuses. But Ann Arbor is really demanding on their admission standards...while Flint and Dearborn seem to take in like 80% of the people who apply.

let me also mention that Dearborn and Flint have NO housing for students...Actually, Dearborn is going to start houseing next year, but I doubt it will be good enough for a human being to live in.
