What are my chances of getting into the college of science and engineering at UMN-TC if I have a 27 on my ACT, a 3.7 gpa un-weighted, a 4.23 weighted GPA. MY EC’s are high school soccer all 4 years, Musical Pitt orchestra. District wide orchestra for 4 years, club soccer, National Honors Society, and solo cello playing.

My Senior Year schedule is:
Ap Calculus BC
Ap Chemistry
Ap Macroeconomis
Ap US government
Regular English humanities
Symphonic Orchestra

I’m also looking at Northeastern University, but what other schools that have good engineering programs would be in my range?

Also I am a board member for the district orchestra

I take it you will be fine. My older brother made it in with a 32 on his ACT, a 3.75 and he only had 3 EC’s (math league, science olympiad, and knowledge bowl)

My friend with a 4.0 uw and valedictorian got denied with a 29. They really like seeing a 30 or higher on the ACT

@meepberd Did you get a decision yet? I’ve applied late October and still haven’t received a decision to CSE yet.
