Future Mech E major, accepted to both UMN and MSOE. Trying to decide between the two. MSOE will better prepare me for the workforce but student life isn’t great in comparison to UMN’s pretty campus and many student groups. How well known is UMN to employers? Should I be worried about the quality of UMN’s engineering programs? In terms of fit, I like both schools and UMN is considerably cheaper than MSOE. Any advice is appreciated!
