<p>Hello! </p>

<p>As are most people, I'm super stressed about my college admittion chances. I recently applied by tr gopher app for the 12/15 deadline for the college of liberal arts at the University of Minnesota. I really feel like I will be declined. Here are my stats
- 3.59 (uw) GPA
- 22 ACT ( I know, horrible but it was worst before)
- African American Female (doesn't matter i guess)
-In a good 5-6 activities including NHS
- I scored a 1550 on the SAT</p>

<p>My stats are all on the lower end of the spectrum. The gopher app didn't require or ask for an essay. Just a portion that asks about special circumstances and awards..etc. do you think I have a shot? I literally have convinced myself that I won't be able to. It's such a challenging school! </p>

<p>I have a friend that got into college of liberal arts with a 23 ACT and 3.4 GPA, I don’t know much about the rest. I think you have a decent chance. Minnesota is selective but not THAT selective </p>

<p>Minnesota is not extremely selective, so I believe you have a chance (especially since it’s liberal arts, they are only selective in their science related majors). Good luck!</p>
