<p>Can anyone advise on the ease of fitting in at Ole Miss as a transfer from California. Also son is interested in the Greek system, but again, is he behind the 8 ball as a transfer?</p>
<p>I go to Ole Miss now, and I love it! The people here are welcoming and friendly, and everyone kind of finds their own group of people to hang out with. More than half of students are from out-of-state, so it makes for a very diversified campus. Transfers are very accepted here, a lot of my friends have transferred from other state schools to here and find that Ole Miss is where they should have gone in the first place! As far as the greek system here, I would say if your son has any interest at all to do it. I believe about 60% of all freshmen rush here, and many, many 2nd year students do as well. It’s a huge part of Ole Miss. I’m in a sorority and absolutely love it. Hope that helps!</p>
