They misplaced my file so they moved me to RD, but they actually had everything and messed up, so they said their sorry and will contact me in few weeks. nbd

That sucks easyasabc…

This is a late post, but I’ve been meaning to get around to it :P

I am SO blessed to be in it’s ridiculous. This is my first choice and what I thought of as a reach.

3.75 GPA, 2100 SAT, BARELY made the top 10% of my class, president/founder of a club, president of hospital high school voluneteers, flute for about 8 years.

Anyway I felt below a lot of their standards. I had a strong essay related to my Catholic faith and probably strong recommendations.

The acceptance was completely unexpected. But I’m not sure why I wasn’t excited/incredibly happy when I got it. Maybe cuz my mom got to it and ripped it first… hehe.

btw I’m a Korean from Southern California :]

I heard they admit a lot from California, esp. SoCal.

I didn’t get my letter so I looked up my app and found I put my wrong address. I am usually not like that. So I’m sure my letter made its was from FL back to IN. And I called on the 24, when I realized it wasn’t coming and silly me, Catholic U, no answer until Jan 4.
Since then, my mail man must know my name because I have gotten two letters from the university, a Christmas card and a financial aid application. Did everyone get these letters? Accepted and Rejected or Deferred?
Just trying to piece it together. Thanks : )

^ Sounds like you probably got accepted. :)

I was accepted and I also received a Christmas card and a financial aid letter from Notre Dame.

If you were rejected, they would not bother sending you a financial aid letter. When my older bother was put on the waiting list when he applied RD in 2007, he wasn’t sent the financial aid letter until after he was accepted off of the list in May.

I would tend to believe that you were accepted …!

Did u guys do the css profile an fafsa yet?

I did the profile from like Nov. and sent it in with my application because I did Questbridge. FAFSA, I think is online now or will be available by the New Year!
