@drm2211 Yeah, no problem.
I had about a 3.8 HS gpa and a 3.92 College. ACT was a 30.
@tiguere2k15 wow impressive! Where are you transferring from?
@tiguere2k15 Congratulations! I would love to call them about an admissions decision because I have the same issue but they seemed to be bothered by my question when I called on Monday, so I don’t know if I should try again
I also sent an email on Monday but have not received a response. Any help would be greatly appreciated!.
@Moviefan07 Are you emailing your regional conuselor or the general admissions office email?
@skipper26 The admissions office email: admissions@nd.edu. Should I contact the regional counselor?
@Moviefan07 I’m not an expert on the transfer process. Hoping to transfer in a year. Maybe @tiguere2k15 will chime in and mention if they called/emailed the general admissions office or a regional counselor.
Haha of course. Thanks anyways-good luck to you in the future! @skipper26
@skipper26 @Moviefan07 I called the general line and then was transferred over to the transfer admissions counselor
Thank you! @tiguere2k15. I made a quick call and left a message for the transfer admissions counselor. Hope to hear back from her very soon! Wish me luck and wishing you all the best as well!
Just got accepted today! I would go with the regional counselor–less busy.
Congratulations! @LowlandCrab did you get the acceptance by mail?
Yes, by mail.
Huge congrats @LowlandCrab …super happy for ya! did you have to take any summer courses?
Always difficult to hear a rejection, but looking forward to what the future holds in store! Congrats to the admitted class, good luck to those waiting and again, I wish nothing but the best for EVERYONE here!
So sorry @Moviefan07 did they tell you over the phone? I have no doubt that there are amazing things in store for you in the future!
@tothefullest Yes. She was very kind and genuine and encouraged me to apply to graduate school in the future if I was interested. There was one thing she mentioned-I may not enter as a junior, but she did comment that had I applied a year earlier, I probably would have be accepted. Therefore, I wonder if my application could be reviewed as if I were a sophomore rather than a junior? I wouldn’t mind spending another year at ND! Will see what happens when I speak tomorrow with her. Wondering if any of you know anything that would help! Again, thank you!
Still waiting :-S anyone else?
Yes @tothefullest, so frustrated.
I feel ya @drm2211 …I’m probably going to call Monday if I don’t hear by then
