Reflection
By just the numbers, Oregon was a safety for me. I got a D that I redid my sophomore year, but still appeared on my transcript and sunk my GPA. I also took about 35 quarter credits of classes that I submitted transcripts for, which probably helped. I didn’t apply for financial aid. Overall, I’m super stoked to have been accepted to UO so fast after submitting my application (Oct 30? Nov 1?) and hearing back quickly! I visited and really loved the school, so even if I don’t hear back from my more competitive schools I’m really happy to see everyone else in Eugene next year!

Strengths: tough classes, decent GPA and test scores, not applying for financial aid, paying out of state tuition, substantial amount of community college and AP credits, applied EA
Weaknesses: failed a class sophomore year, not from in-state
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: Oregon accepts around 70%-85% of applicants. Under these conditions, I’d expect to be accepted.

DS accepted yesterday. He’s been pulling long hours at work so he didn’t find out until tonight!

Put on holistic review. ?Congratulations to all of you who got accepted.

Same here. Applied on 10/28 .

DS heard through email last Friday.

We received an email stating a decision had been made. As of yesterday, the portal had remained the same.

It was through email.
