I will be applying to University of Oxford. I have all the recommended bare minimum and essential AP/SAT/SAT subject tests to be considered for admissions, but I have a 1 on an extremely irrelevant AP exam irrelevant to my course. I am planning on cancelling it by contacting College Board, but if it is cancelled, does it show as “cancelled” for that subject in case Oxford asks for my score report?
If yes, do I need to list this irrelevant AP course on my UCAS app and just not leave any score?
How would they view pending scores? I plan on taking a few AP courses to boost my application and possibly prepare for the rigour of Oxford should I ever get accepted, so if my referee lists expected grades as 5 for all of them, how much would that help?
I have read forums where people ask about AP scores and how it does not matter for admission, but of course Oxford is different in that AP scores are extremely vital.
Thank you.
