University of Penn HELP!

Hi , I'm wondering how my scores will be viewed SAT 620 CR 780 Writing 800Math first time taken SAT II Math I 650 Bio M 680 I am an athlete and coaches want scores by Spring. In Jan should I retake SAT to increase critical reading first or take subject tests to increase them? March no subject given and then May has subject tests. Thanks

If you are a senior, January will be the last time you can take SATs and still submit them to college. I say fix that 620 CR. Anything sub 700 causes the throats of Ivy Adcoms to tighten. I also think college wont look at both SAT Math and SAT Subject Math Level 1. So, retake the SAT Reasoning for higher CR.

Thanks for your reply. I’m a junior so I hope to increase CR . It sounds like the CR is more critical than subject tests?

@Goldye Oh! You should have said that you’re a junior. Yes, CR is a very important section (arguably the most important section) as College use it to an extent to value your critical thinking. You have plenty of opportunities to take the tests so don’t worry about it.

Your SAT CR is below the average 690-780 score.
