Hello, everyone! I am a rising senior who is very interested in pursuing a degree in both Computer Science and Cognitive Science and later matriculating to medical school. I was wondering if anyone had any information about this particular program, as I could not see any other pages dedicated to it. I am applying ED to this program in the fall and would love to get to know more about this particular program (how competitive the admissions are as compared to other dual-degree / Penn programs, quality of the education, ability to matriculate to medical school with the acquired degrees, etc.) If anyone knows more about this program, please leave your comments below! Thank you!
Bump? I’m now torn between UPenn AI and Brown PLME. I absolutely loved both the schools, and now I’m really confused.
@TheElusiveGod From my understanding, it’s a very small program. I’ve heard of the program but don’t know anyone actually in it. Sorry that I can’t be of more help. Maybe try emailing a professor affiliated with the program (if you can find that information online) asking if he or she can provide you with some more info and if he or she thinks the program is a good fit if you plan to go to med school.
@WhartonPenn2017 Thank you! I’ll try emailing someone. My main concern with the program was that I wouldn’t be able to complete my pre-med requirements because of the vast number of required classes for the program.
@TheElusiveGod hey, are you applying to AI program this year? Do you know how many people got in this program last year?
I’m applying this year RD. I’m not sure how many got in last year, sorry!
