@positivemax there’s always a chance, it would certainly make for a more exciting story. Are you a rising sophomore or junior? And best of luck today, we all need it.
I just realized Penn Engineering has some prerequisites for transfer students. Do we have to complete those course requirement in order to be considered?
@Xinnyyaa as far as I know, it is not a definite requirement. But if you complete the prereqs. then they will give you more preference
@Neurophile sophomore. I will never get permission to apply again next year from my parents.
Are there any signs that one can tell ahead that he/she is admitted or not?
I applied to CAS. I should have taken the risk and just applied to Wharton but got scared off by the low acceptance rate. We will see what happens, but im kicking myself either way. GLTA.
@positivemax Why your parent wouldn’t your parenta allow you to reapply next year?
I am in my country’s best engineering school. Applying to US colleges is a costly affair and colleges itself even costlier. I really wanted to come though. My best friend is in MIT. Hoping for Upenn.
Facing a certain rejection yet still slightly nervous
@urmom666 same
what are we thinking of in terms of numbers?? expected admission rate? GPA range? ACT scores?? is it going to be another record breaking applicant year :0
@collegetransfer18 In today’s day and age, every year seems to be a record breaking year.
