@Rob3223 I am!
@Eggyeol Good luck dude!! Stats??
4.00 GPA with 47 credits. Taking 15 right now and most likely holding 4.00. Going to CC. I invest on my own and will pay for all the tuition from that money. Got 3 recs and a good essay. Main downside is my high school record and one suspension in high school.
In addition to what @bluebel57 has said, I contacted the admissions office because some of my materials are still listed as missing. They said, “We will not fully process Transfer documents until mid-April. Please don’t have anything resent. Check your Penn Portal often for updates.” It seems like you shouldn’t have to worry if materials are missing until mid-April, and that then they would let you know if they need something. Hope this helps anybody else who was nervous about their application status before
@Vincent1997 sounds like you have a shot, wish u the best:)
@Rob3223 what are your stats?
.
Welp I don’t think you need my feedback haha
Hahaha thanks man, you never know though. I wish you the best.
@Rob3223 What concentration are you going for?
Finance, wbu?
@Rob3223 same. Do you invest or do something along those lines?
@Vincent1997 I do, but quantitatively; I make high-frequency-trading algorithms.
@Rob3223 that’s cool. So you have some CS background too?
@Vincent1997 Mhmm, but I don’t want to work in quant stuff tbh; it gets boring after a while haha. I’m a social person, so I want more client interaction.
You said you’re paying your whole tuition through with the money you made by investing?!
For concentration, I was trying for Business Econ and public policy and then a secondary in global analysis. I know all of this is such a longshot though haha.
