Received that email from Penn & Dartmouth. Did not receive a letter from NW and was rejected.
What does this financial aid letter look like anyway, and is it for domestic or international students as well?
Wharton is a pre professional school, and the best of its kind if that is what you want. UChicago is a superior university overall (by a long shot) and its economics department is legendary. At UChicago you will become an educated person. At Wharton a business wiz as an undergraduate. Either way you cannot go wrong. I would do UChicago economics BA and then Wharton MBA! .
Hi guys! Just logging back on for RD season. Whats up?
Any Bioengineering folks here?
Me! I’m bioengineering!
I didn’t fill out the financial supplement and did not get a letter! I just went to the portal and filled it out today after reading the posts! Anxious to see if this means I have been rejected!
@Classtwentyone Is the financial letter thats being sent out only for unfinished docs or a request for more info about the student? Same, i know how you feel I’m low-key freaking out too lol
I think unfinished documents
My stats:

11 AP courses
National merit finalist

I did not receive the financial letter dated 3/16 even though I had missing documents . This may mean I was rejected . Although I have lots of vomunteer service hours, I have never had a paid job and I have heard it is importamt to them that you have held a job. I also am a white male which I hear another strike against me since they base their decisions on creating a diverse freshman class and they have an over abundance of white male applicants.
I will find out for sure next week … and if I am rejected, I will be disappointed but not bitter! UPenn is my
Number one choice … my dream school , but there are other schools out there that will be happy to have me and I would be honored to attend!
How do you check the FA portal/which documents you are missing? I had my mom deal with all the FA documents, and I haven’t received any letter from Penn indicating missing documents.
Does Penn send out decisons by email or snail mail?
@bwalts61 portal
I checked on the portal. I had a message in the portal telling me that I was missing items. They never sent me an email and never sent me anything in the mail. I only checked because I saw on here that people were getting letters in the mail telling them they were missing items. I was surprised that they did not email me to let me know ! I wasn’t planning on checking the portal until the 30th!
@Classtwentyone are you talking about missing financial aid items or regular application items?
Financial aid items!
@Classtwentyone how do you check online? I had to call to make sure everything was in after I got the letter, but I just want to double check now.
