how good is the honors college in Pittsburg ?
What are the stats required for admission ?
Do they offer merit scholarship ?

i know my friend got a full ride to the honors college, or at least i’m pretty sure he did.

If you have good test scores, Pitt will most likely offer you some sort of a merit scholarship. This year, I received a full tuition scholarship, plus an extra engineering scholarship, and I was invited to apply for the Chancellor’s Scholarship, which would’ve been a full ride plus a stipend for books and things. Pitt is also nice because they will waive the application fee if your ACT (I think it’s the ACT) or SAT is over a certain threshold, and if you apply before a certain date.

I know that their med school is fairly prestigious and they have joint graduate programs with Carnegie Mellon University, just down the street. You can also cross-register. It’s definitely worth applying to as a financial and academic safety if you get one of those letters telling you that they’ll waive your application fee, and the campus is pretty attractive as well. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the information.
I did recieve a letter from the honors college that they would waive the application fees. Can you post your stats.
