That makes sense @finnb. I think they are trying for a turn around time of 3-4 weeks which is still very fast I think.

@hailtopitt1787 How long after submitting the application does it take for the portal login credentials to come in by email? I submitted 2 days ago and I still havent received any emails confirming my application was sent in or anything. Should i be worried that the email on file isnt working?
My son received his email of acceptance today and will be anxiously awaiting his letter in the mailbox! He applied into Pharmacy but not sure when he finds out being accepted into their program. ACT 32 - WGPA 4.2 - Applied July 31 (Day 1)

@Birdcage331 No. It was yesterday we noticed her mobile app changed from “no pending application” to actually show Fall term 2018 and a choice to click on either Accept. or Decline for admission. Her friend received that and 2 days later her acceptance email came. Others have said the same so we are taking that as a good sign. Hope we are not wrong.
August 1st
@koshercowribs, You should hear from our Technology Desk within 72 business hours with your applicant log in information - so I wouldn’t worry yet!
Best,
A Pitt Admissions Staffer
My S18 received his admission letter today for Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences/Political Science (he got the email notification earlier in the week).
He was happy to see that the letter does state explicitly that he’s eligible to participate in the Honors College, although it says formal notification and program details will be sent separately.

Was so nice to see the letter arrive in the mail and the notification of eligibility for the Honors College. Now we’ll sit on pins and needles awaiting the notification of merit (if any). Good luck to all!
@amyBeth68, we are in the same boat re: merit. It will be a long year, I’m afraid!
Here is the merit thread with stats and amount of merit $$ received from last year.
