@ttb1263 no she didn’t apply for GAP medicine, as she is not interested in going to medical school… she did get guaranteed admission into the Information Sciences program however. I guess your D applied to GAP medicine?
Hopefully she will hear back re: merit soon! What kind of scholarship (amount) did your D get?
My D received an offer for 20K/year scholarship. I was hoping for more since we are OOS but the primary target for us is the GAP medicine, which is impossible to get.

From Pitt, the time line early to mid December and we haven’t heard anything yet. One more week of waiting and checking and if we don’t hear anything, the GAP medicine dream is out 
D21 received 20k/yr scholarship. OOS Applied 10/24, buttons appeared 11/13, email acceptance 11/16, merit in Pitt Mobile portal 12/8. Applied for GAP medicine and Honors but did not hear back yet.
We are also at 4 weeks tomorrow for business. Right there with you!!

thats actually almost 5 weeks! so theres still hope for us 4 weekers! lol!

I heard someone say that they talked to an admissions person and since there are more apps in right now, it will take 6-8 weeks

This is helpful, as the application (inc. honors) was posted 10/29.
Two more questions, if I may: How do you see the buttons, do they just appear on that blank homepage? And is the homepage supposed to be blank? Seems the only thing I can do is click on the top for “my status,” check application, and it has a small bar of info, with just “Application complete” underneath. Maybe I’m not using the portal properly? Thanks and good luck, everyone!
To see buttons you have to click on the PS mobile site, then click admissions info.
THANK YOU for posting about the app! On the Pitt portal “Peoplesoft” application status bar, there was no information… then we checked the mobile app, and my son has ACCEPT/DECLINE for PoliSci at Dietrich!

Can I appeal from what campus I got into? Also, I applied as Pre-Med but where my buttons are it says biological sciences… What??
… and now I understand “buttons.” On the Pitt PS mobile app or site, they ask you to click on a “button” for either accept or decline. That is often the first acceptance info, apparently!

Hello! So I just realized I need pre-calculus as a requirement to be accepted into the business program. I took statistics instead. Anyway, I immediately called admissions and explained and they said to send an email to my admissions person (which I did)to ask to be considered as DietrichSchool not specifically for the business program. Haven’t heard back yet and still hasn’t changed in the peoplesoft application portal (still says college of business) My question is, does anyone know if they found me unqualified for business due to this, would they automatically consider me for the Dietrich School even if I hadn’t asked to change to that? Thank you!
Hi, am new to the rolling admissions plan. Does rolling admissions mean there are also rolling rejections? Or do they keep you waiting until the end of the process and send out the rejections all at once?
Just wondering whether my fellow 4 weeks–now going on 5–waiter had heard anything yet. Still nothing for my son and it will be 5 weeks on Saturday. I’m feeling that this cannot be a good sign.
