Hello everybody! Quick question. I have been accepted to University of Pittsburgh as a transfer student starting this fall. I currently have a 3.67 GPA. Now...the problem. This semester there are two classes that I'm not doing too hot in...one I will probably end up with a "C" in and the other I will end up with a "D" in. Everything else will be As or Bs. Would this be reason for them to rescind my admission? My GPA for this term will still be (well) above a 3.0, so my cumulative GPA will be be at the worst around a 3.2. Thanks for the replies!

The D might be a reason for rescinding your admission because it’s not a passing grade for that class. Call them up and ask. And start working to bring it up to a C!

Oh believe me, I am trying my best…one test and the final left. fingers crossed

I’ll give them a call on Monday…I say this full well knowing these grades are important, but they are “just” general ed. classes that I can easily repeat. So I’m hoping that’ll help a bit.

I also got accepted into UPitt

Congrats! Where are you from?

Better hope they catch that bomb threat guy soon. 58 threats now I think? Still, it’s an awesome campus. Try not to live on the Hill if you can because walking up and down it totally sucks. Congrats and H2P!

I’m from Pennsylvania. I’m actually going to get my second degree…Where are you from?
