Going as a nonmed biology major
Got a really good scholarship at Redlands. With that and finacial aid, tuition is all paid for. I’ll only be paying 14k annual for dorming, which is fine for my family.
Fullerton is the same story. Financial aid pays all of tuition, and paying 14k for dorming. However, I also have a choice of communiting here which would cut the cost significantly. My parents and Iwould prefer that I dorm though.
I’d probably choose Redlands over CSUF given your financial situation. I think you’ll have all sorts of great opportunities at smaller school like Redlands. It’s a really nice little campus. I also like their May term offerings as well.
I’m literally sitting here with my mouse hovering on the submit button to turn in the deposit for either schools. This is still such a hard decision for me and hopefully I’ll be able to make this decision by Sunday.
Look at it this way: at URedlands, your odds of graduating in 4years are MUCH higher -64% at Redlands vs. 14% at Fullerton - so you save one year of tuition.
Thank you everyone for your input.
After consideration, I have commited to Redlands last Sunday.
If anyone in the near future has any questions about Redlands or college admissons in general, feel free to PM me.
Wish you the best of luck on your admissons!
Redlands is an amazing school. I’m glad you picked it. I know at least 10 people currently there and they all say that is just the perfect school for them. good luck there!
